As the sun starts to put in appearance, do you have some fun summer plans in place? I have a bunch of stuff on the horizon, but the thing that’s taking up the most diary and mental space is my long-overdue return to the Glastonbury festival.
I’ve only actually been to the festival once before in 1998 – good grief, that’s 27 years ago! It was one of the legendary muddy years. Really, really, super extra muddy. So I wasn’t in a big rush to go back, and now that you can see all the main acts from the comfort of your own home, I have tended to opt for Glastontelly instead. Thank you BBC.
But this year is different. I have a chance to work on site for a week, and will even get to speak on stage (I’ll tell you more about that closer to the time). But for now, I’ve been doing an adidas haul thanks to my ongoing collaboration with the brand, and have opted for things that will serve me well in a field.
My adidas festival haul
First up, check out this adidas x FARM cap, perfect for summer vibes, rain or shine. Fingers crossed for shine.

Also, I knew I needed some slides in order to navigate the festival showers, though I did wonder if I’d gone a bit too safe with these Adilette Aqua Slides in Preloved Ink. I tend to go for the plainer footwear, as found in the ladies black trainers section. I guess this is the pool version of the little black shoe.

They have a nice cushiony footbed so you can wear them all day quite comfortably. I paired them with some festival-friendly socks, again from the adidas colourful collaboration with Brazil’s FARM Rio.
There you go, that’s better. Which way to the Pyramid stage?

And of course, a festival bag is an essential to keep all your bits and bobs together. This is adidas Glow Festival bag.

Depending on which way the light hits it, this bag is anything from almost black to a purple sheen. There’s an inner zip pocket plus two side open pockets to help keep things organised. Might add some badges.
So that’s where I’m at so far with my summer and festival organisation. It’s a start, eh?
Are you going to any festivals this year? Will I be seeing you at Glastonbury? What are your festival must-haves? Get in touch and let me know.
