I’m pretty sure you’ll know this product – Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is a widely-loved, award-winning deep conditioning hair mask. I think I first discovered it via a tester kit such as this one from M&S and it’s been one of those products I keep going back to as you just know it will sort out frazzled hair effectively.
It’s a pre-shampoo treatment – apply to damp hair 10-20 minutes before shampooing, or you could even leave it in overnight for some serious deep care. Wash out with your usual products and right from the first use you’ll notice less frizz and more shine and hydration. Use it maybe once a week. You’ll get several month’s worth from the typical jar.
From time to time, the company brings out limited editions of Elasticizer – the basic product is still the same, but the scent and packaging will be different. I’m guessing this is to appeal to those of us who like the product but who are easily distracted by anything new.
This is the latest version of Elasticizer I was sent and wanted to show you today:
How pretty is that packaging?
I love the blue, the little ladybirds and the tiny silver embossed butterflies. The bluebell woods scent is, as you’d expect, reminiscent of a walk in the countryside. It’s light and floral, like sunshine in springtime. Just lovely.
I think this would make a great gift for any haircare fan. It’s a very reliable product that is going to suit all hair types, plus the packaging is really pretty and gifty.
Another thing I like about this set is that it comes with a shower cap so you can pop it on for 20 minutes or so to work its magic while you get about your day.
See you in the woods?
