My book about how to find calm is on its way very soon! And to celebrate I have some bookshop events in Brighton and London I’d love to invite you to.
There’ll all free or very low cost and there’ll be wine, snacks and lots of lovely books.
How does that sound? Will you join us? It’ll be fun, I promise. Also super chilled and calming (probably).

First up, on the 4th of October 2023 I will be at Waterstones in Gower Street, London, talking about how to deal with stress and become calmer. Spaces can be booked in advance here and are only £3. It’s part of the Freshers’ Festival, but you don’t have to be a fresher to attend. I’ll make sure there’s something for everyone.
On the 12th of October (the book’s actual release day) I’m delighted to be at Kemptown Bookshop in Brighton. I’ll accompanied by my friend Rachel Lawrence AKA The Girl With The Pilates Mat from YouTube and author of The Little Book of Pilates. We’ll be talking about how you can access your inner calm. Tickets for this one are free, and there’s a glass of wine included, but you MUST book in advance as spaces are limited. Find out more and book online here.

Rachel and I will also be in conversation on the 19th of October at Nomad Books, Fulham Road London from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Again this is a free event, there’ll be wine and a few snacks and the lovely surroundings of this award-winning independent bookshop. You can reserve your space here. Booking in advance is important so we can keep a space for you.
Please don’t be shy of coming along to any of these bookshop events by yourself. We’d really love to see you there. Feel free to message me beforehand if you’re coming along.
Keep calm and read along
If you can’t make it to the bookshop events, I’ll be doing a week of special podcast episodes around publication time all around the theme of finding calm. So be sure to subscribe to 5 Minutes to Change Your Life so you can hear those.
And of course, you could always buy the book! It’s similar in format to my previous ‘five minutes’ books in that there are over 60 practical little tips that are easy to oncorporate into your day. It’s an easy, accessible read, beautifully designed by the folks at Summersdale so it makes a nice gift. And if you like the colour blue, it’s for you!
