UPDATED TO ADD
Since I originally wrote this post, The Body Shop winter sale has now started and is running from 23rd of December online here and 26th of December in store.
Reductions are up to 50% off, plus there is 3 for 2 on Sale products. I don’t know if you can stack that with my 20% discount code, OT20 but hey, it’s worth a try.
The Body Shop Sweetness & Sunshine Mango Essentials gift set
I was sent this mango gift set by The Body Shop and it’s a great mood-lifter on wintry mornings. Although this is in the Christmas range and has some seasonal motifs on the packaging, content-wise it’s an anytime gift that’s particularly reminiscent of summer. Actually, maybe that’s what makes it good for this time of year – we might be freezing but we know the sunshine is on its way.
I’ve just finished writing a book about how to be calm (more news of that soon) and coincidentally, mango came up as one of the foods that can help you feel calmer. So I’m not saying to eat this gift set, but sniffing it won’t do you any harm.
This set contains:
- Mango Shower Gel 250ml
- Mango Body Yoghurt 200ml
- Mango Hand Balm 30ml
- Mini Ramie Bath Lily
They’re calling it a bath lily, but you might know this item better as a body puff – you know the little plastic nets that are so good for getting a lather going in the shower? This is a natural alternative, made of ramie, a natural plant-based fibre that’s much kinder to the skin and the planet than plastic.
The reusable packaging is a cute little ziparound bag that’s quite plain once you take off the outer cardboard wrapper, but good for home decoration.
As usual with TBS, the ingredients are Fair Trade, so although it’s not the cheapest, that’s because the people who made it were treated fairly and this is something to support.
This set and the rest of the Christmas range can be found instore and at The Body Shop online.
My 20% discount code is OT20 and it can be used until the end of March 2023 online here at The Body Shop website.
