As the year rattles to a fast close, I am now on a mission to finish the year strong – both strong in mind and body.
This time of year tends to get increasingly crowded with STUFF, doesn’t it? It’s so easy to drift because the STUFF will always pull you along.
Time seems to run faster and before you know it, 2026 will be here and you’re no further forward on the things you meant to do in 2025.

Sleep + movement + joy = strength
As always for me, mental and physical strength go together. So the main things I am focusing on right now are: sleep, movement and joy. If you have plenty of those things in your life the the rest of it tends to take care of itself.
Life is busy but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming when you focus on feeling strong.
On the movement front I am digging deep with the strength training and have replaced my weightlifting gloves which had seen better days with some nice shiny new ones from adidas.

#GIFTED #CREATEDWITHADIDAS
This is part of my regular collaboration with adidas.
Did you know adidas did gloves? They have everything from padel shoes to sunglasses so you could pretty much create a whole outfit from head to toe. These are my little signal to myself that my strength is important and worth paying attention to.
They’ve got sturdy velcro fastenings, loops for easy removal and anti-slip palms. If you’re quick you can catch them at 40% off in the sale. These are size S.

I’ve been using these a lot in Body Pump (weightlifting to music) classes. One thing I do find is that when life is extra busy (like now) a gym class that’s led by a trainer is much easier to stick to than a solo gym session. In a class, all you have to do is show up. Once you’re in the room, all the thinking has been done for you, and you just have to follow the trainer’s instructions. I like having less to think about when life is busy enough already. More space for joy.
