A'kin Moisture Rich Miracle Trio

A'kin Moisture Rich Miracle Trio gift set

A’kin is an Australian skincare brand on the up. I remember when you would only find their products on the dusty shelves of obscure health food shops. Whereas now, you can pick them up with your shopping at Waitrose.

I guess the rise is down to the increase in interest in the kind of natural approach A’kin advocates. All the products contain no parabens, sulphates, silicones, artificial colours or fragrances. The products are 100% vegan, with no animal testing ever.

A’kin have a range of gift products now available for the vegan skincare fan in your life, and today we’re looking at the Moisture Rich Miracle Facial Trio gift set.

A'kin Moisture Rich Miracle Trio

The set contains three full sized products, plus a 100% cotton muslin cloth:

  • Nourishing Cream Cleanser & Toner
This blend of rose, geranium, shea butter and sesame oil cleanses the skin without leaving it feeling dry. It’s got a lovely silky texture.
  • Rose Mist Toner
This gentle toner is infused with aloe vera and rose essence to relax and hydrate the skin
  • Rosehip Oil Lotion
Finally, we have a lightweight moisturiser infused with organic rosehip oil. It doesn’t smell of rose (or anything really) and is suitable for dry to normal skin.

So as you can see you get a complete cleanse, tone and moisturizing routine in one box. The wood and leaf themed packaging is quite simple, and as you might expect from a company like this, it’s recyclable. The rose scent is quite light and doesn’t dominate. I would give this as a gift to someone who likes natural products. So if you have a friend who’s vegan, Australian and loves to smell the roses, you have just won at Christmas.

A’Kin Moisture Rich Miracle Facial Trio is available now RRP £36, though I found a good deal online reducing it to £30.60 here. If you were to buy these products separately then the value is around £58 – top deal, friends.
