Yes! It’s that time of year again! I don’t know about you, but I LOVE a beauty advent calendar. I’m really looking forward to choosing which one to buy this year. I know it’s early, but there aren’t many pay days until Christmas so I think a lot of people will have already started planning. And since beauty advent calendars almost always sell out quickly, you need to be fast when the one you want gets released.
First off the block is The Body Shop. They are officially launching their range of 2017 beauty advent calendars on 12th September, though they’re already on early release online here. There are four different, beautifully coloured calendars in their offering, with prices ranging from £45 to £99.
I’m going to show below what’s in each of them so DON’T SCROLL DOWN IF YOU DON’T WANT TO RUIN THE SURPRISE.
One thing I absolutely love about this range is that every purchase raises money for refugee children. The Body Shop has teamed up with International Alert and buying from from the seasonal gift collections (not just the advent calendars) will help fund the Peace Play Project in Lebanon. This project provides play and activities in a safe place for Syrian refugee children. Find out more about the Play For Peace campaign here.
First up is the biggest calendar, the 25 Days of Game-Changing Advent-ure Ultimate Advent Calendar. It retails at £99 with contents worth £212.
It’s filled with a mix of classics and new favourites, including the new Matcha Tea Face Mask. There’s also Vitamin E day and night creams, plus Matte Liquid Lip in its most popular shade.
Next is the 25 Days of Game-Changing Advent-ure Deluxe Advent Calendar. This will be on sale for £90 and contains gifts worth £139.
Highlights include Matte Liquid Lip, Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter and a lot more.
Then we have the 25 days of Game-Changing Advent-ure Standard Advent Calendar, RRP £65 containing products worth £116. This features everything from a cute bunny headband to the excellent Camomile eye make up remover.
Finally, we have the purple 24 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar, RRP £45, contents worth £86. It’s crammed with a host of mini essentials, from British Rose Body Butter to Coconut Hand Cream. And although it’s the cheapest, I don’t think you’re getting short changed here at all with this fab selection.
