So a while ago I bought a Korean beauty box from Eopenmarket. The Eopenmarket Secret Box delivered a bit less than it promised, but it didn’t stop me going back for more.
This time I went for the Eopenmarket Lucky Box , which is a box containing mostly foil samples – at least 30; which for $8.80 (around £5.70) is a pretty good deal. Samples are great for taking on holiday and finding out which products won’t fry your face off before you invest in a full size.
It took about a week to get to me in the UK and the main set of Lucky Box samples were bound together in a clear package, with a few extra samples on the side.
This is what my Eopenmarket Lucky Box contained:
- 1 full sized Red Ginseng Essence sheet mask by Foodaholic
All the Lucky Boxes I’ve seen pictures of contain a mask, but the exact type varies, as do the samples

TonyMoly:
Cat Chu Wink lip tint
The best thing about this is that it comes in an eeny weeny size bottle, like fairies would use. I can lend it to the fairies at the bottom of the garden when they’re going out clubbing.
Floria Whitening Capsule Essence – 4 samples
A fermented essence, with white lotus flowers and Vitamin C to brighten and moisturise the skin
BCDation – 4 samples
I’ve used this before, it’s sort of half way between a BB cream and a foundation. Gives a light but thorough and long lasting coverage with SPF 30 to protect your skin from sun damage.
Tomatox Magic Massage Pack – 6 samples
Obviously a tomato-based face mask counts as one of your five a day. Plus it’s magic. maybe the fairies will want some.
There was also an extra TonyMoly Egg Pore Nose Pack included.
Benton:
Snail Bee High Content Skin x 2
Turns out this is not actual skin (because that would be weird), but rather a toner made from snail filtrate and bee venom (clearly that’s not weird at all).
Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream
I already have a full sized pack of this, but a super-adorable mini-pot is very welcome. The fairies are doing well out of this lucky box, for sure.
Purito:
Snail Clearing BB Cream – 8 samples
This SPF 38 BB cream contains snail filtrate for skin repair. You really can’t be squeamish about snaily stuff if you are using Korean skincare because it pops up – or slithers in – all the time. Don’t be scared, it’s just a bit of slime from a little feller’s snaily bottom.
Snail All in One BB Cleanser – 8 samples
I like how these two sets of samples work together, like a mini skincare system. Also, more snails.
Milky Dress:
Milky Dress Premium – 3 samples
There’s something kind of odd about this brand name, isn’t there? Like, how exactly did your dress get so milky? Perhaps it’s best not to share.
Apparently this is the top selling whitening skin product in Korea. It won’t bleach your skin – when Korean products talk about whitening, it’s more like a brightening effect that evens the tone. Going to try this on my crop of weird leg marks.
Mizon:
Original Skin Energy Placenta 45 x 1
Collagen Power Lifting Cream x 1
I would have liked more than one of these to try. I’m assuming that’s plant placenta but I’m scared to look it up. Yes, plants can have a placenta. See, Korean beauty products are very educational.
Missha:
Time Revolution Treatment Essence – 5 samples
Never tried this before but it gets great reviews so it’s a welcome addition to the skincare pick n mix.
Holika Holika:
Skin & Good Cera Super Cream x 1
A fairly heavy moisturiser which claims to work for 72 hours so good for skanky people who don’t wash for three days.
Secret Key:
Prestige Snail Repairing Cream x 1
More snails! See how they creep in everywhere. For lovely skin plus the bonus ability to grow a shell on your back.
So it’s not a bad haul for under £6 is it? Plenty of kbeauty skincare brands represented and enough of each of the samples to give the products a proper try out. I think this would be a good introductory package for somebody who is still figuring out which products and brands they like. Or for somebody like me who is proper nosy about all the different products and doesn’t mind throwing random stuff at their face.
