It seems an appropriate day to tell you that my new book, Social Media for Writers, is on its way.
Naturally, there is a chapter about blogging.
It’ll be released on 1st April 2015 in paperback and Kindle formats. This is the blurb:
This is a book for all writers – authors, journalists, copywriters and bloggers. It shows how you can use social media to help you attract more writing work. Through practical, easy to follow advice, you’ll learn how social media can become part of your income stream as a writer.
Best-selling authors and successful freelance journalists also share the secrets of how they use and manage their social media. It includes chapters on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Pinterest, Tumblr and Instagram.
Social Media for Writers also covers what your writer’s website needs to contain, and how to set up a successful blog. You’ll learn how not to let social media become a terrible time suck, and how to make it work for you.
You can find it here on Amazon.co.uk
There is also a dedicated Twitter feed @SocMed4Writers that I’m using to share tips about social media which are relevant to writers. I’m following pretty much everybody back on that one so come along and say hello.
And a Happy World Book Day to all writers and readers, wherever you are and whatever you’re reading.
